Apple has ordered “The Crowded Room,” an anthology series starring Tom Holland. It is a seasonal anthology series where the characters of the show and the storyline changes from season to season.
The first season tells the biography of Billy Milligan. Played by Holland, Billy Milligan is the first person ever released of a crime due to multiple personality disorder. It features 10 episodes and is described as a “captivating thriller,” written and executive produced by Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman.
The actor himself will executive produce the series. It is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency. Also, Alexandra Milchan from EMJAG Productions and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer will serve as executive producers.
This isn’t the first collaboration of Holland with Apple, they together have worked for the hit film “Cherry.” The actor featured as the lead in the movie which was released in March.
