Apple expands Developer Academy program to Detroit and Korea, applications are now open
You’ll need to be aged 18 or above to join the program.

Apple released an update about the Apple Developer Academy expanding to Detroit and Korea. This is the first time the program has been made available in the United States.
Back in 2013, the academy was first opened in Brazil and since then Apple has opened dozens of academies across the globe. Apple provides app development training and entrepreneurial skills to the enrolled students. The academy offers two programs:
30-day foundations courses that cover specific topic areas, including an introductory course for those considering app development as a career path, and a more intensive 10- to 12-month academy program that dives deeper into coding and professional skills.

The Apple Developer Academy provides an opportunity for students to collaborate and learn from different personals from different professional backgrounds. This helps them boost their knowledge and develop app ideas and startups.
Applications for the Detroit Academy open this week, and the academy will open in October in downtown Detroit. If you’re interested in applying for the program, then you need to be aged 18 or above and should be able to give 20 hours per week, either in the morning or afternoon, to the academy. No prior coding experience is required to join the developer academy.
You can apply to Apple Developer Academy through the Michigan State University website.
