Apple Music Lossless and Spatial Audio coming to India soon

Apple announced Apple Music Lossless and Spatial Audio in May. The new features arrived for Apple Music subscribers around the world this month except for those in India.

A group of users from the Indian subcontinent asked Apple Support about the features on Twitter. The company shortly replied the features would be arriving soon in India. In addition, Apple Music India webpage mentions that the Lossless and Spatial Audio support for Apple Music is “coming soon.”

Apple Music Lossless and Spatial Audio will be launching on the original HomePod and HomePod mini through a future update, while AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and Beats wireless headphones lack the support because Bluetooth connections aren’t lossless. The features are available to Apple Music subscribers at no additional cost. Apple Music subscribers in India will have to wait a bit longer, though.
