Apple removes Siri features used by low vision and blind users
The company is aware of the issue.

Apple device users are no longer able to use Siri for voice calls, voicemail messages, and email management. With the release of iOS 15, Apple has pulled a handful of Siri integrations that support visually impaired users as accessibility shortcuts.
The company has removed in total seven commands that provide details on voice calls, call history, voicemails, and email creation.
- Do I have any voicemails?
- Play my voicemail messages
- Check my call history
- Check my recent calls
- Who called me?
- Send an email
- Send an email to [person]
It is unclear when and why Apple took this step, but MacRumors on Wednesday reported having received multiple reports about the issue over the past two weeks. According to MacRumors, the Siri feature removals have been documented on AppleVis, a website that serves as a forum for blind and low vision users of Apple products.
A person on AppleVis contacted Apple support on this matter and was told that the company is aware of the issue. This could mean that a solution might be in development.
