WhatsApp rolls out multi-device support to users on iOS and Android
The feature is currently in beta.

WhatsApp has rolled out multi-device support to users on iOS and Android. The beta feature lets you link your WhatsApp account with up to four devices without requiring an active smartphone connection all the time.
While it serves the purpose of using WhatsApp on multiple devices, it is not possible to delete conversations or threads through the linked devices just yet. Even you can’t message or call from web, desktop, or Portal to users who have an outdated version of WhatsApp on their phone. If you don’t use your phone for over 14 days, then your linked devices will be disconnected automatically.
In order to enable the multi-device feature (currently in beta), you’ll need to head to WhatsApp > Settings > Linked Devices > Multi-Device Beta and then join the beta program. Given the feature is in beta, it’s likely to come with bugs. Therefore, you can leave the beta program at any time.
