Apple Music is now available on Google Nest speakers

Apple Music users can now stream content on Google Nest devices in five additional countries. The countries include Australia, Canada, India, Mexico, and South Africa.

The support means Apple Music subscribers can ask Google Assistant to play songs, albums, and playlists on a Nest speaker or display — just like Siri on HomePod. And, setting Apple Music as default streaming service will eliminate saying “on Apple Music” for each request.

Setting up Apple Music on Nest is easy. Apple’s support document has outlined detailed steps.

Previously, Apple Music on Google Nest was made available only in France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. A recently-updated Apple support document mentions the additional countries where Apple Music is supported on Nest devices.
