Apple WWDC 2022 announcement

When Apple announced dates for this year’s WWDC 2022, it mentioned a special in-person event taking place on June 6 at Apple Park. The special event will see a small number of developers coming together to watch the WWDC 2022 opening keynote. Registered developers will be able to apply to attend beginning Monday, May 9.

We’re hosting a special all-day experience at Apple Park on June 6 to kick off WWDC22. Gather with others in the developer community to watch the keynote and State of the Union videos alongside Apple engineers and experts, explore the all-new Developer Center, and so much more. We can’t wait to connect in person.

Members of the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program can apply to attend the free event. Apple says the invitations will be allocated through a random selection process and are non-transferrable. Submissions open May 9 through May 11.

There are health and safety protocols to follow at the event as well. More information is available on Apple’s developer website.
