The first Google Pixel Watch is officially unveiled at Google’s Pixel 7 event. The circular watch comes in two variants, starting at $349 for the Bluetooth/WiFi model, and an addition $50 for 4G LTE.

The Pixel Watch comes in 41mm size and features a circular design with the top made of 3D domed glass. It has a navigation button located next to the digital crown on one edge, and the other edge has speaker and microphone cutouts.

There’s an always-on AMOLED display that brightens up to 1,000 nits. Google says it will last 24 hours on a single charge, and can gain 50 percent of battery power is just 30 minutes. It’s also water resistant up to 5ATM.

The Pixel Watch runs on Wear OS 3.5 with a tight Fitbit integration. It features a Heart rate monitor, blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, and ECG. The fact that the Google Pixel Watch will include Fitbit fitness features is perhaps more fascinating. The watch will get Fitbit Premium capabilities, workout tracking, activity zone minutes, power sleep tracking, and other health-monitoring functions.

In addition to Google services like Maps, Photos, Assistant, Google has pre-installed 18 watch faces exclusively for the Pixel Watch. Plus, you can create your own watch faces. Google says the Watch’s band system attaches like a camera lens to a camera body, offering a variety of watch bands to choose from.

The Pixel Watch is compatible with Pixel phones and other phones running Android 8.0 or above. It comes in three colors — Matte Black, Champagne Gold, and Polished Silver. Preorders are open now, with availability beginning October 13.
