Apple announces iPhone 15 event for September 12

Apple has sent out press invites for this year’s iPhone event. The special event, titled “Wonderlust,” will begin at 10am Pacific Time on September 12 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. The special event will be broadcast on apple.com and on the Apple TV app.

During the special event, Apple will unveil its latest iPhone lineup, which typically includes two standard models and two pro models. The upcoming iPhone 15 models are expected to ditch the Lightning port for USB Type-C due to European Union regulations.

While the iPhones are an annual tradition, there could be more announcements coming along. Recent reports suggest that Apple could possibly unveil new Apple Watch models, including an updated Apple Watch Ultra. Furthermore, Apple will release the public version of iOS 17 software update next month.
