Ted Lasso is returning for a fourth season on Apple TV Plus

Apple TV Plus’ hit comedy series, Ted Lasso is returning for a fourth season. Jason Sudeikis, who plays the title character Ted Lasso, revealed that the script for the fourth season is underway, in a New Heights podcast.

Sudeikis didn’t reveal much about the new season or any release date, but he did mention that Ted will be coaching a women’s team in season four. It has been two years since the third season of Ted Lasso premiered on Apple TV Plus. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation regarding a new season among the fans, but this is the first time a cast member has confirmed it publicly.

Ted Lasso is a football coach from Kansas who’s hired to coach a Premier League football club, named AFC Richmond, in England, despite having any experience coaching football teams. The football drama has been a smash-hit on Apple TV Plus, and has won many prestigious awards since its debut in 2020.
